CELEBRATING DIGITAL INCLUSION WEEK & CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS MONTH
At Madison Communications, we’re proud to join communities across the country in recognizing Digital Inclusion Week (October 6–10, 2025) and Cybersecurity Awareness Month..
As part of our commitment to helping everyone feel confident and safe online, we’ve partnered with Smart Rural Community (SRC) to share their new Senior Safety Series—a collection of short, easy-to-understand videos designed to help seniors stay safe while using the internet.
Helping Seniors Stay Safe Online
The Senior Safety Series includes three quick, educational modules focused on the topics below. The videos are completely free and available to everyone. You can check them out here:
As technology becomes more essential in our daily lives, it’s important that all members of our community—especially our seniors—feel empowered and protected online. Seniors are often the most vulnerable to digital scams, and these videos provide practical, easy-to-follow tips to help safeguard their personal information.
Sharing Resources Across Our Communities
In addition to promoting the video series on our social media channels, we’ve shared these resources with local libraries, chambers of commerce, senior centers, and other community partners to help reach as many residents as possible. We believe that by working together, we can create a safer and more connected digital community for everyone.
Our Ongoing Commitment to Digital Inclusion
Digital Inclusion Week highlights the importance of ensuring equitable access to technology and digital skills for people of all ages and backgrounds. By focusing on senior safety, we’re continuing our mission to support the well-being, education, and connectivity of the communities we serve.
