Technician Team Finishes 1st Place in Cable-Tec Games Competition for Ninth Consecutive Year
Madison Communications is pleased to announce that their technician team made up by Darin Jansen, Brian Henfling, Brent Phillips and Jeremy Maggart won 1st Place Overall at the Mid America Cable-Tec Games held in Oklahoma City in September. Madison was just one of many cable operators represented at this event which challenges cable TV technicians to compete in events that measure their technical abilities, such as cable splicing and meter reading, and demonstrate their knowledge, such as cable jeopardy. These skills are a direct representation of the quality of work this team does every day in the field for their customers.
Not only did Madison’s team finish as “Best Team Overall”,but members of Madison’s team also placed in the individual competition as follows: Jeremy Maggart,gold medal for first place individual overall and also earned a gold medal for Mainline Splicing and a bronze medal for Cable Jeopardy. Brian Henfling won a silver medal for meter reading and a bronze medal for drop splicing. Darin Jansen received a gold medal for Cable Jeopardy. Brent Phillips won a gold medal for meter reading.
