Len Schwartz Honored by Illinois Telecommunications Association
Springfield, IL – During its 2017 Annual Meeting and Convention, the Illinois Telecommunications Association (ITA) announced the Member Company Employee Recognition Award. This honor is bestowed annually in recognition of an individual’s service to the Illinois Telecommunications Association.
This year the ITA recognized Leonard J. Schwartz, Vice President of Madison Communications Company, Staunton, IL with the Association’s 2017 Award during its 112th Annual Convention on June 12th at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
“Len was recognized for his service to the Illinois Telecommunications Association’s Technology Committee and for his help in fostering education and collaboration among members of the telecommunications industry. His entrepreneurial spirit, support of the community and positive outlook have been a model for other companies, and the ITA wanted to recognize Len for these contributions to the Association and the industry,” said Randy Nehrt, President of the Illinois Telecommunications Association.

The Illinois Telecommunications Association creates a forum for its members to identify and to examine issues of importance; to foster collaboration among its members; and to present on behalf of the telecommunications industry a unified position on matters of importance before the regulatory and legislative bodies of Illinois.
