Scholarship Opportunity

Madison Communications and the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) offers a college scholarship program to help further higher education among rural youth.  Each May, FRS will award $75,000 in the form of thirty, $2,500 scholarships to rural high school seniors across the United States.  Awards are granted to students sponsored by a National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) member company and, if chosen, are awarded $2,000 by FRS in addition to a $500 scholarship match by their sponsoring company.  

The deadline for submitting an application is March 1, 2017.  Winners will be announced on the FRS Website,, by May 1, 2017. Download the Application here.
