The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently announced that the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is expected to end due to shortage on funding from Congress. Any ACP applications and enrollments that were submitted after the date of February 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET will not be processed.
Households who have applied, been approved, and have been receiving the monthly internet discount prior to February 8, 2024, will receive a stepdown credit of $14.00 off of their internet service on their May 2024 bill, as long as the household remains enrolled in the program.
Once the ACP funds from Congress have exhausted and the program has officially ended, Madison will continue to bill you at the standard rate for the current services you are receiving.
